Nine people died when a small Piper-23 Apache passenger plane crashed into a house shortly after takeoff north of Manila today.
The plane took off from the airport in Plaridel town in Bulacan province then crashed. The reason behind the crash isn't clear yet.
Spokesman of Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, Eric Apolonio shared, "Everyone on boards in the six-seated plane died immediately. Later, four people on the ground killed after the fire broke down on the ground."
While a rescue operation was on, all the aircraft operated by the same transport and courier company remained grounded while investigators tried to determine the actual reason behind the crash.
