'I love Big Macs so much I'll keep eating them until I die' says Guinness World Records holder Don Gorske who eats 30,000th McDonald’s hamburger
Don Gorske, world record-holder eats 30,000th McDonald’s hamburger. He became famous after his short role on the 2004 film Super Size Me, has eaten Big Macs every day since May 17, 1972, and is currently at 29,877.
Last year, he officially entered into the Guinness Book of Records after he ate 28,788th in front of judges, a feat no-one in the world has even come close to surpassing.
The retired Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, resident told The Sun Online: "I love Big Macs so much I'll keep eating them until I die. If I live as long as my dad I'll pass 40,000.
"There's a joke I tell people - that if my wife has to put them in a blender then it's over."
On Friday, WBAY-TV reports that 64-year-old Don Gorske of Fond du Lac recorded the milestone at a local McDonald’s.
Gorske has even kept the boxes of the hamburgers or receipts or has made specific notes in calendars that he’s kept.
The 64-year-old Gorske says, that doctors have told his cholesterol and blood pressure are normal.
He further added, "For some reason, I never get sick, I just I'm lucky. My weight stays the same. I have a cholesterol of 160.
"I keep moving all the time, I like keeping busy. I spend a lot in the summer time going for walks."
