A new smuggling network has been busted by Indonesian police. Brigadier General Herry Rudolf Nahak from Indonesian National Police shared the three of the smugglers were Rohingya, Bangladeshi and Indonesian. Nahak shared, "The Indonesian police have named three suspects, including a Rohingya man, as the organisers of a 'complex scheme' to bring people to Australia illegally,"

He has also thanked the Australian Federal Police without whose help the ring couldn't have been unearthed.

This racket was operated by people smugglers. They organised fake papers for the Bangladeshi men who were brought to Malaysia by a speedboat. After crossing Indonesian portion of Kalimantan and Java they were smuggled to Papuan port which was the nearest destination to Australia.

Then after they hired a local fishing boat and brought the men to the Australian mainland.
