A two days Global Education and Skills Forum organised at Atlantis The Palm, Dubai UAE kicked today. Survivors of Florida school shooting shared their grief of losing 17 friends and classmates. Survivors were from Parkland high school where 17 young people were killed in a mass shooting.

In the forum, the survivors unfolded that day when the key accused Nikolas Cruz opened fire on teachers and students. They wore a red ribbon pinned on their suits to honor the victims.

Survivors named Suzanna Barna, Kevin Trejos and Lewis Mizen shared their experience and also how they pushed for gun safety measures.

One of the survivors Kevin Trejos shared, "It was scary. There were people crying. We didn't know where the shooter was. We didn't know if he was coming to our classroom next,"  She added that there has to be an improved school safety.

On Wednesday, tens of thousands of students across the US walked out of their classrooms demanding action from politicians on gun violence and school safety.
