Former Bhutan PM Tshering Tobgay carried his wife on back to prevent dirtying her feet; this romantic picture goes viral
Showing his humility and love for the life partner, former Bhutan prime minister Tshering Tobgay carried his wife on his back in order to prevent her feet from dirtying. He shared a picture on Twitter in which he is seen to give his wife a piggyback ride.
Sharing the photo posted on 12 September, he said “Not as dashing as Sir Walter Raleigh, but a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do to keep his lady’s feet clean”.

Tobgay, who is a politician, environmentalist and cultural advocate, was the Prime Minister of Bhutan from July 2013 to August 2018. His wife’s name is Tashi Doma. He is one of the founders of the Peopl’s Democratic Party.
