China Kindergarten Knife Attack: Six killed, one suspect arrested
Beijing (China): A kindergarten stabbing attack has claimed the lives of six people including three children in China's Guangdong province.
According to reports two parents, one teacher and three children have been killed in the attack.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested by the police, say media reports.
The attack was carried out on Monday at 07:40 local time (23:40 Sunday GMT).
The man was arrested at 08:00 and police have called this a case of "intentional assault", reports BBC. Police have sealed off the surrounding area near the kindergarten.
Many people on Chinese social media have expressed shock after the knife attack.
China has witnessed several knife attacks in recent years, including several in schools.

A knife-wielding assailant killed three people and wounded six others in a kindergarten in Jiangxi province.
April 2021
A mass stabbing in Beiliu City, in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, claimed the lives of two children. Sixteen others got injured in the attacks.
After this attack, the education ministry mandated emergency evacuation drills in schools.
