China: Coronavirus infected woman gives birth to baby with no infection
A Chinese woman, who has been suffering from the novel coronavirus pneumonia gave birth to a boy with no infection in East China's Zhejiang Province on Saturday.
As per a China Xinhua News report, the newborn baby has been receiving intensive care as he was tested negative for the nucleic acid test associated with the novel coronavirus.
However, he will be tested again in the next few days to confirm the absence of the virus at the Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine in Hangzhou.
"We make full preparations after the pregnant woman arrived," said a staff of the hospital.
On the other, social media is abuzz with reactions after the news has surfaced on the internet.
The internet users have expressed their happiness with the news and are calling the boy 'lucky'.
Some people also expressed concern about his health and hoped that the infant tests negative even in future tests.
