Beirut Blast: Syrian man helps pigeon who lost one eye in explosion; video will make your day
Beirut explosions have jolted the city and people are still reeling from the aftermath of the massive warehouse blasts. Around4,000 people were injured while the death toll reached 150.
Social media has been flooded with various perturbing videos that showed the destruction around the area where the explosions occurred. Amidst all such horrifying video, a positive and emotional video has surfaced the Internet in which a man can be seen helping an injured pigeon.

The man was identified as Abdel Salam, who is Syrian and helped the pigeon by giving it some water.
As per the viral video, Salam filled the water in the bottle cap and then gave it to the bird who lost an eye owing to the blast.
The heartwarming video was shared by a Twitter user named Vivian Yee, who is the Middle East correspondent for The New York Times.
The video shared with a caption: “Just went back to my shattered Beirut neighbourhood for the first time since the explosion. One of the first people I saw was a Syrian man named Abdel Salam, who was ever so gently pouring water in the cap for this one-eyed injured pigeon to drink.”
