In a statement on X, Aurangzeb quoted Nawaz Sharif, stating that these decisions aim to free Pakistan from economic risks and relieve the people from inflation, showcasing the leader's confidence in the proposed leadership.
Shehbaz Sharif's Announcement
Earlier, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, after a multi-party gathering, declared Nawaz Sharif as the party's candidate for Prime Minister and Maryam Nawaz for the position of Punjab Chief Minister. He reflected on his previous term, highlighting achievements in averting economic defaults.

PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, speaking after the multi-party gathering, emphasized the unity to form a government and steer Pakistan out of crisis.
