38 killed and dozen injured in deluges and landslides in Japan

At least 38 people and some dozen went missing after massive flood and landslide in the western area of Japan. The worst hit area is Hiroshima prefecture since Thursday. More than hundreds of homes have been damaged.
Officials have ordered nearly 1.5 million people to leave their homes and some three million have been advised to stay safe.
Nearly thousand police, firefighters and soldiers are busy in search and rescue work. One of the News Agency reported that victims have been buried under landslides.
According to Japan's meteorological agency about 600km west of the capital Tokyo rain fell about 583mm and more is expected over the next few days.
