Woman takes lover’s help in killing her husband; know why
In a shocking incident, a woman in Gujarat allegedly killed her husband with the help of her 19-year-old boyfriend and friend. Reportedly, the woman used to live on the footpath near Bhadrakali temple in Karanj.
The accused woman was identified as Rekha, who used to earn money by picking up rags.
The woman took the help of her 19-year-old boyfriend named Sabir Pathan and his friend Raju Damor to kill her husband.
As per media reports, another 22-year-old man also helped the three accused in strangling the victim to death.
The deceased was identified as Jignesh Solanki. According to timesnownews.com, the woman was upset with her unemployed husband.
Rekha’s husband had been spending her money. Therefore, she decided to murder her husband. Both Pathan and Damor told Rekha that they would murder Solanki and live together.
To commit the crime, the three also roped in another man named Shivam Thakkar. Later, the four accused strangled Solanki to death. On July 17, the accused met on the eastern side of the riverfront near Ellis Bridge. Before killing Solanki, the accused consumed liquor and had dinner, The Times of India reported.
The accused allegedly took Rekha’s husband to Ellis Bridge where the four of them assaulted Solanki before strangling him to death. After killing Solanki, the accused left the man’s body near Victoria Garden and fled from the spot.
After being alerted about the crime scene, Gaekwad Haveli police filed a case of murder and handed over the case to the crime branch. During the investigation, police arrested Rekha, Pathan, and Thakkar.
Meanwhile, the cops are yet to arrest Damor.
