Woman sets her father ablaze for a shocking reason

In a shocking incident, a woman allegedly set her father on fire in Uttar Pradesh’s Budaun. Reportedly, the woman committed the crime after he objected to her relationship.

The victim was admitted to a hospital and is said to be in critical condition.

The 55-year-old man was identified as Mohammed Aamir, a resident of Hatra village in Wazirganj. Aamir works as a marginal farmer and has two daughters and a son.

According to the timenownews.com report, the woman set her father ablaze with the help of her family members. Meanwhile, all the other accused are absconded.

The horrifying incident came to light when an unidentified person contacted the police and told them that the man had set him on fire.

Police reached the spot and found the man lying on the floor. Aamir reportedly suffered 50 percent burn injuries. Following this, the cop rushed him to the district hospital, where his medical treatment is underway. The man has recorded his treatment after the preliminary treatment was administered to him.

“My family wanted me dead”

In his statement, Aamir said that his daughter has an affair. When he objected to it, his daughter, son, and wife along with his nephew poured petrol on him and set him on fire. He further told that they all wanted him dead.

Meanwhile, police have not received any complaint in the matter, therefore, no case has been registered, Siddharth Verma, additional SP (rural) told. Police are trying to nab the family members of Aamir.

Doctors are monitoring Aamir’s and said that he is stable now but needs to be kept under medical supervision.
