Woman’s paramour kills her 8-year-old son for exposing illicit affair
In a horrific incident reported from Maharashtra’s Thane, a 21-year-old man kidnapped and murdered the eight-year-old son of a married woman he was an a relationship with. The incident took place after the minor boy told his father about his mother’s illict affair with the accused.
The 21-year-old, identified as Jitendra Maddheshiya, has been taken into police custody. The accused used to work as a cook at the eight-year-old boy’s house which falls under the jurisdiction Bhoiwada police station in Bhiwandi taluka of the district. He was in a illicit love affair with the child’s mother.
Earlier on Thursday, the victim went missing from his house, after which a case of kidnapping was filed and investigations was started by the Bhoiwada police. On Friday, the investigators found the missing child’s dead body inside a closed apartment on the fourth floor of the building, where he lived with his family.
The police registered a case of murder. During the probe, it became known that the victim’s father had sacked their cook from his job. Suspecting a link to the crime, the investigators interrogated Maddheshiya, and he confessed to having killed the child, according to a report published by The Times of India.
The report quoted the police as saying, “The accused said that he was unhappy with the child who had exposed his relationship with his mother to his father, who had laid him off from work after learning about the same”.
In a different ncident, a man allegedly strangulated his wife to death in Tamil Nadu’s Erode district. Police said the accused, a driver by profession, suspected that his 28-year-old wife was in a illict affair with a painter. He asked her to stop contacting the painter, but she reportedly used to meet him. This irked the accused and he killed his wife on Saturday.
