Woman, paramour murder father, hang body from tree for objecting to wedding
In a shocking incident reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly, a woman killed her father and then hung his dead body from a tree for objecting to her wedding plans. The woman and her husband made the man drink liquor and after he was drunk, the duo hit him with an iron rod till he fell unconscious.
As maintained by a report in The Times of India, the 46-year-old farmer, identified as Harpal Singh, disapproved of his daughter’s relation and had also denied to give the 10-bigha land he owned.
The post-mortem report showed injury marks on his body, which induced the cops to start further investigation.
Acccording to police, the victim’s wife had registered a complaint on July 19, Harpal Singh went to his farm as usual, but he never came back home. He was found hanging from the tree the next day.
The wife suspected foul play and approached the police. Later, it was discovered that the victim’s daughter alongside her lover had hatched a plan to murder him.
Police found out that the victim’s daughter had made many phone calls to her lover the same day her father went missing. This caused the cops to suspect the role of the daughter.
Preeti and her paramour, identified as Dharmendra Yadav were arrested by the police from Badaun while the third accused is still on the run. The duo latter confessed to their horrific act during a probe. As FIR under charges of murder and criminal conspiracy has been lodged against the three accused.
