Watch: BSF defuses mortar shell in J&K’s Samba
The Border Security Force (BSF) jawans recovered a live mortar shell near Regal Border Out Post at the International Border in the Samba district of Jammu. The shell was detected by a team from BSF’s 48 Battalion during patrolling in the area.
The patrolling team immediately called the Bomb Disposal Squad and took the mortar shell to a safe location. Later, the live mortar shell was successfully defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad.

As per PTI, another live mortar shell was noticed by the residents of Pragwal vilage in the Akhnoor sector. The locals informed the Bomb Disposal Squad about the mortar, which took the shell to a safer location.
