Varanasi man sexually assault minor boys after assuring admission in school
In a monstorous incident of crime coming in from Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi, a man, aged 38, was taken into police custody on Tuesday for allegedly sexually abusing five minor boys aged 11 to 14 years.
As maintained by a report in the Times of India, the accused has been recognized as Murari Lal, a native of Gangapur. The accused had sexually assaulted the boys after assuring their parents of getting them admitted to a school in Kamaksha area.
The Police Commissioner A Satish Ganesh was quoted by TOI as saying that on the basis of the complaint lodged by a relative of minor boys, the accused has been charged with IPC Section 377 and Sections 3, 4 of Pocso Act. Furthermore, an investigation into the matter is still underway.
In line with the complaint registered by the complainant, the accused, Murari Lal, had come in his contact two months back, when he assured him of getting his five cousin brothers admitted in class VI and IX at a prominent school in the locality.
He further alleged that Murari sexually assaulted the minor boys one by one by taking them into bushes.
However, the matter became known on 21st October when the minor boys finally told their relative about the sexual assault or misdeeds of Murari, following which he soon registered a police complaint.
In the meantime, in he time of interrogation, the accused (Murari) divulged that he used to teach in coaching centres and private schools to earn his living.
Furthermore, he confessed that he was a homosexual and on knowing this, his wife had left him along with two children, the TOI reported.
