Uttar Pradesh Crime: Man kills father, files false case to frame stepmother

In a recent development coming in from Bijnor’s Dharmuwala village, a 57-year-old man allegedly murdered his father but later approached the cops and registered a complaint in order to delude the investigation. The unfortunate incident unfolded in an area which falls under the jurisdiction of the Badhapur police station.

The deceased victim has been identified as Preetam Singh. As maintained by the police, Singh's second marriage happened eight months back. The accused son knew that his father was planning to exclude him from the property.


According to reports, the 57-year-old man was planning to transfer all the property in his wife's name. The victim’s first wife had perished three years back.

Bijnor SP Dharamveer Singh stated, "Fearing his father's intention to excommunicate him from his property, Kailash Singh bludgeoned Preetam to death with an iron tool on 26th November. He then filed a police complaint against his stepmother Bachhali Devi. "

According to the SP, the victim (Preetam) had several bruise marks on his body and he was found dead in his room, The Times of India reported. In the time of investigation, the cops came to know that Kailash, his brother-in-law Sandeep Kumar and his friend Sudhansu were responsible for the horrific act.

As per reports in Mirror Now Digital, there was a property dispute between Kailash and his stepmother as Singh wanted to transfer all his property in the latter's name. The SP added, "First, he murdered his father and then framed his stepmother for the crime in a bid to send her behind bars. However, police foiled his vile plan".
