Uttar Pradesh: 19-year-old man arrested for allegedly raping, murdering minor girl in Salarpur

A 19-year-old man has been taken into custody for allegedly raping and murdering an 8-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh’s Salarpur.

The victim passed away during treatment at the Child PGI Hospital, said Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-1 Gautam Budh Nagar Sankalp Sharma.

Not long ago, a 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth in Uttar Peadesh’s Muzaffarnagar and there has not been any arrest so far in the case as the accused is absconding, the police stated on Wednesday.
