UP: Two siblings threaten to commit suicide after their father kills himself
A gloomy incident has been reported in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh, where two siblings uploaded a video and threatening to commit suicide soon after their father killed himself.
The video was shared on social media on Tuesday. In the video, the brother and sister claimed that they would end their lives in the two days if the people who forced their father to end his life are not nabbed.
The children lost their mother in 2005 and now, their father consumed poison on August 3.
As per the reports, the now-deceased man was a fourth class employee in Sri Gandhi Smarak Inter College of Aligarh.
Before killing himself, the man told his relatives that the college principal and clerk were demanding Rs 2 lakh on the pretext of giving him a full salary. Reportedly, the college principal and the clerk were allegedly paying him half of the salary and also were not allowing him to file his attendance.
The father of kids also told his relatives that he had already paid Rs 1 lakh to the two accused and was being subjected to harassment for the rest of the amount. He also recorded the video before committing the drastic step and uploaded it on social media.
A day after his suicide, police registered an FIR under section 306 (abetment to suicide) against unidentified persons. However, no arrests have been made yet.
Due to this, the siblings were disappointed.
Atul Sharma, SP (rural) told media that he has spoken to the children and also assured them to arrest the accused very soon.
