UP: Three bike-borne men gang rapes minor girl, two nabbed

In an extremely shocking incident of crime reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Pilibhit district, the state police have arrested two individuals who allegedly gang-raped a minor girl. The police said the third accused is still at large.

As maintained by a report by Times of India, the minor victim was on her way home when the unfortunate incident occurred. She was accompanied by her brother-in-law when the three biker accused sexually assaulted her taking advantage of the isolated location. The accused stopped their two wheelers and carried out the horrific crime there, the police said.

Furthermore, police said an FIR has been filed against the three accused at the Amariya police station on Monday. They were booked for gang rape and robbery and charged under POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.

Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar said, "We inspected the crime scene after registering an FIR. The bike used by the accused belonged to Jeeshan Ali. Ali was arrested from the Sungadi area of Pilibhit".

"During the interrogation, Ali revealed the names of Baljeet Singh and Balbeer Singh, alias, Baba. Baljeet has been taken into police custody, while Balbeer is on the run. Our teams are trying to trace him. The two nabbed accused were sent to the Pilibhit district jail," Dinesh said.
