UP shocker: Neighbour rapes 19-year-old girl, throws her off terrace
Amid UP’s Budaun brutal gang rape and murder case, another shocking rape incident has been reported in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad. A 19-year-old girl was allegedly raped and then thrown off the terrace of her house by her neighbour.
The case came to notice when the father of the teenager approached the police and file a complaint against the man. In his complaint, he stated that on Monday night, their neighbour identified as Arvind Singh sneaked into the room of his daughter through the terrace.
He threatened the girl at gunpoint and took her to the terrace and raped her. When she tried to escape from the accused, he pushed her off the terrace and fled, the victim’s father told police.

After hearing the girl’s cries, her family members rushed and saw her lying on the ground.
She was immediately taken to the district hospital for treatment, timesnownews.com reported.
As per the victim’s family, the condition of the girl is said to be serious.
Her backbone is fractured and also suffered from head injuries. She has been referred to the Lala Lajpat Rai Medical College in Meerut.
After receiving a complaint, the police immediately swung into action and nabbed the accused. He has been booked for rape, trespass, and voluntarily causing hurt under the Indian Penal Code.
Meanwhile, a further probe is underway.
