UP man takes minor sister-in-law hostage, rapes her for two months
There seems to be no end to crime against women and kids throughout the country. In a new incident of crime brought to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut, a woman was allegedly raped for two months by her brother-in-law.
Earlier, the woman in some way managed to escape from the captivity of the accused and narrated her ordeal to her parents who in response went to the police for help and registered a complaint.
Later, the police sent the woman from medical analysis. The accused was on the run untill the last report came in, as maintained by a report in Hindi daily Hindustan. The accused, a native of Hapur tied the knot with a woman from Meerut’s Lisari Gate about six years ago.
Sometime ago there were difference of opinion between the couple because of which the woman went to stay at her maternal house.
About two months ago, the woman’s minor sister went missing. Following that, a police complaint was registered in this regard. On Sunday, the victim called her parents and told them about herself.
The girl's parents then arrived at Hapur and brought her to Meerut. The victim told police that she went out to buy some things on the day of the crime and met her brother-in-law who enticed her and took her away.
The accused allegedly took the minor girl in his captivity for two months and on many occasions raped her after giving her drug injections.
According to the CO Arvind Chaurasia, the girl had been sent for medical examination after she filed a complaint.
