UP man hacks wife to death, leaves son in critical state after delay in serving him salad
In yet another shocking incident reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli. A man hacked down his wife and injured his son for a delay in being served a salad. The accused has since been on the run.
The incident happed in Shamli’s Gogawan Jalalpur on Monday. According to a report by Hindustan Times, police have registered a murder case against accused Murli, who is 45-years of age for killing his wife Sudesh.
According to the police, the accused had demanded to have a salad along with the regular dinner. As the wife was caught up with other work, there was a delay in serving him a salad, which resulted in an altercation between the couple.
As the argument aggravated, the accused launched an attack on his wife with a hoe (a farming tool) and hacked her to death while also injuring his 20-year-old son in the process.
The accused then fled from the crime scene. Meanwhile, neighbours heard the screams and rushed to the house to find the woman soaked in a pool of blood.
They rushed Sudesh and her son to a hospital for medical attention, where the woman was declared dead. The son’s condition remains critical. Police have launched a manhunt for Murli, who remains on the run.
In another incident reported from Maharashtra’s Mumbai, a 28-year-old woman allegedly killed her husband with the help of her paramour and buried his dead body inside her house in the western suburb of Dahisar, police said on Tuesday.
While the woman identified as Rasheeda Sheikh was taken into police custody during the day, her paramour Amit Mishra is on the run, police said.
The horrific incident happened in Dahisar’s Rawal Pada locality 12 days ago, when the accused allegedly cut the victim Raees Sheikh's throat with a sharp edged weapon in front of his minor daughter, police said.
