UP: Drunk man beats wife to death in front of 6-year-old son; viral video shows his cruelty

A viral video of a man assaulting his wife has gone viral on social which turned evidence against him. The shocking incident took place in the Raebareli district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.

The intoxicated man brutally beat his wife to death in Korihar village of the Gurubakhshganj area of the district.

Shockingly, the accused man killed his wife in front of their 6-year-old son.

The accused has been identified as Dhanraj. The deceased woman identified as Sangeeta, who was brutally thrashed by her husband and succumbed to internal injuries.

However, the video of the incident went viral on social media. Reportedly, the clip of the assault was recorded by a neigbour.

The police have sent the body of the deceased for postmortem. Moreover, the accused has been arrested by the cops.

He has been booked under relevant sections 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

In the viral video, the accused man can be seen thrashing his wife while she was screaming in pain.

The Additional Superintended Police, Nityanand Rail told media that they got information about woman’s murder. When they reached the crime spot, the woman was frothing from the mouth.

Also, they have taken note of the viral video. The husband of the victim has also been detained by the police.

On the other hand, the dead body of the woman has been sent for an autopsy report.
