UP: 20-year-old girl kills brother for molesting her in parents absence; surrenders

A shocking case has been reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district where a sister killed her elder brother after he tried to molest her in their parents' absence. As per reports, the incident came to light when the 20-year-old girl approached the police station and surrendered herself for killing her brother.

In trying to resist her brother’s advances she killed her brother with help of sickle and pestle lying next nearby her. However, her parents denied the daughter’s allegations towards their son. During interrogation, she revealed that on late Tuesday night when their parents had gone to their maternal grandparent's place in Bela town, her brother tried to molest however in self-defence she attacked him with sickle and pestle.

Soon after killing her brother she went up to Kotwali police station and confessed before the cops about the crime. On hearing this police immediately swung into action and found her brother lying in a pool of blood with serious injuries. They rushed him to hospital however the doctors declared him brought dead.

The police have booked the accused under the charges of Section 304 (Punishment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder). However, they are still investigating the case from different angles.
