TN Horror: Wife-Daughter set man on fire for having extramarital affair

A shocking news came to light from Tamil Nadu where a wife with her daughter set her husband on fire while he was sleeping at his home in Jeevanagar area on Thursday. As per police even victim’s mother-in-law was involved in this gruesome murder.

The incident came to light when the man identified as P Kandasamy (45) woke up in flames around 4 am in the morning and cried for help. After hearing his cry neighbours immediately rushed to his help and took him to  hospital after dousing the fire. They informed the police about the incident who soon rushed to his help, however the victim died after giving the statement.

In his statement, he told that some unidentified persons doused him in petrol and set him on fire. On the bases of this statement, thy started the search operation and arrested 3 accused namely victim’s wife, daughter and mother who confessed to their crime.

When they asked the reason as to why they set the man ablaze the victim’s wife told that he was having an extramarital affair with a woman in Salem city. The couple had been at loggerheads over the issue from past 3 months when the victim told the family that he will live with his newfound love in Salem from April.

This irked the wife and she then hatched the plan to kill her husband and for this, she sought the help of her mother and daughter. On the day of the crime, they fled the place after setting the man on fire to give the impression that the victim was alone when the incident happened.
