Telangana horror: Father kills daughter with axe after suspecting love affair

In a recent development coming in from Telangana’s Wanaparthy, a man killed his minor daughter with an axe after he became suspicious of her having a love affair. He also saw her speaking to some young men in their village.

The man, identified as Rajasekhar, hacked his 15-year-old daughter, identified as Geetha, to death with an axe after she was seen allegedly speaking to some youth in her village despite his disapproval.

The shocking incident happened in Pathapally village of Pebberu Mandal. Rajasekhar murdered Geetha using an axe because she had disobeyed her father many times despite him telling her that the family would be dishonoured by a love affair.

Superintendent of Police, K Apoorva, while talking to the media, said, “It has been stated that the father doubted her character after she was seen speaking with a few youths in her village. It is also alleged she was having a romantic relationship with a boy. Angered by her actions, the father, who came to know of this, hacked her with an axe.”

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anand Reddy, stated, “We have registered a case and are investigating all angles. A murder case has been registered against the man under section 302 of the Indian Panel Code.

The accused father has been taken into police custody and officials are investigating all angles of the crime.
