Tamil Nadu: Senior citizen kills 36-year-old man for harassing his daughter-in-law
In a shocking incident, a senior citizen allegedly killed the man who was harassing his daughter-in-law.
The incident took place in the Tuticorin district of Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.
The 36-year-old man was hacked to death after he allegedly harassed a woman, timesnownews.com reported.
The victim was identified as T Yovan Arputharaj, a resident of Keela Panaikulam near Sathanakulam, according to a report in the Times of India.
During the investigation, police found that Yovan was killed by a man identified as Chelladurai, who resides in the same village as a victim.

According to the police, the deceased man was regularly harassing Chelladurai’s daughter-in-law. He even had attempted to kill the woman in November 2020. He was later arrested and sent to jail.
After Yovan was released from jail, he again started eve-teasing the woman. Due to this, Chelladurai was upset and hacked him to death on Wednesday morning.
Later, police recovered the victim’s body and sent it for post-mortem.
Senior police officials visited the spot and conducted the inquiries. As per officials, they have formed three teams to arrest the accused.
