Tamil Nadu: Man thrashed to death after scuffle over rooster
In a shocking incident, a man was brutally killed by another man during the clash in Chennai, Tamil Nadu on Monday.
The incident took place when a rooster entered the house of the now-deceased man and damaged some household items including plants.
The victim has been identified as Sasikumar.
The police have arrested the accused couple involved in the murder.
According to a report in Times of India, the fight started after Anbalagan’s rooster went to Sasikumar’s house and damaged his household items.
After this, the clash broke out between two men and their wives. During the brawl, the victim was hit by a stone. He then, immediately rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The Vadi Tank Factory police registered a murder case against the couple and arrested the accused Anbalagan and his 40-year-old wife, a resident of Arikkambedu near Avadi.
According to timesnownews.com, the accused couple was remanded to judicial custody after the husband and the wife were produced before a magistrate’s court.
Reportedly, the now-deceased man was used to work at a private mobile phone company in Arikkambedu.

On July 19, a 34-year-old man was battered to death by a 59-year-old security guard on theft suspicion at a parking area in Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan. The accused security guard was later arrested by the police.
According to the police, the deceased man, identified as Kurshid Alam, and his friend allegedly went to the parking lot for stealing vehicles on June 13.
However, the security guard caught them red-handed. Kurshid was beaten to death by one of the security guards.
The victim was declared dead at Safdarjung hospital, police said.
