Suspecting infidelity with husband, woman pushes neighbour, her kids into well
In an incident of crime reported from Madhya Pradesh, a woman was allegedly pushed into a well with her children as she was suspected of infidelity.
Reportedly, the woman's neighbour suspected her of having an illicit love affair with her husband. While the woman was saved, her kids drowned to death in the well.
The incident occurred on Monday at around 6 pm in the Betul area. The dead bodies were recovered around 17 hours following the crime. According to the cops, they were told about the incident three hours later.
The 25-year-old victim has been identified as Rita. On the day of the horrifying crime, Rita was going back home with her kids when she came across her neighbour, identified as Pinky.
According to The Times of India, the two women allegedly began arguing and in a fit of anger, Pinky allegedly pushed the woman (Rita) into a well along with her daughter. Terrified, Rita's son tried to run away from the crime spot but Pinky caught hold of him and threw him into a well.
The victim tried to grab hold of some roots inside the well and tried to hang on to them but Pinky used stones to force the woman into losing her grip. In the meanwhile, Rita's uncle and other relatives heard her cries for help and rushed to the crime spot in order to rescue her.
While the woman's relatives were able to save her but the kids drowned to death. Following the rescue, the woman told the police that Pinky doubted her husband of having an affair with her. Rita, however, alleged that she did not have any relationship with the man. Pinky was taken into police custody soon after the crime and has been charged for murdering two kids.
