See how circles, squares draw outside shops to maintain social distancing amid coronavirus scare
The Indian government has asked the contribution of countrymen to fight against coronavirus after announcing the lockdown for 21-days from 25 March. During a lockdown, essential items will be available to use, including medical, grocery and milk shops.
Prime Minister has announced a lockdown on March 24 at 8 pm and asked people to take the lockdown rules seriously. As Centre and state governments have asked people to maintain social distancing during COVID-19 infection. Following the instructions, several shopkeepers have drawn squares and circles outside their store in a bid to maintain at least one meter of distance.
During the total lockdown, several photos and videos have surfaced the Internet in which grocery shops, vegetable stores, and pharmacies have marked with numbered squares or circles with white paint.
In the videos and pictures, people can be seen standing a few feet away from each other while waiting in the queue to purchase the items.
Puducherry’s Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi also posted the image on Twitter with a caption, “In Puducherry Milk booth. Social distancing...”
