Sanjay Manjrekar issues cryptic tweet about encounter of 4 accused in Hyderabad rape-murder case
Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar on Sunday put out a cryptic tweet vis-a-vis the encounter of the four accused in the Hyderabad rape-murder case, stating ‘Public sab Jaanti hai’.
“There is a famous Kishore Kumar song ‘Yeh public hai, yeh sab jaanti hai’. Public ain’t so naive. #RapistEncounter,” Manjrekar wrote.

On Friday, all four accused in the gang-rape and murder of a veterinarian in Hyderebad were shot dead by police.
Ever since there have been differing point of views on the police action with some applauding their efforts while other said that justice should have been done via legal process.
The crime enkindled a national hue and cry with people demanding stern laws for the crime against women.
According to the police, the four accused, who were in their custody, were being taken to the crime spot, when they tried to escape and were shot.
“The accused Mohammed Arif, Naveen, Shiva and Chennakeshavulu were killed in a police encounter at Chatanpally, Shadnagar today in the wee hours, between 3 am and 6 am. I have reached the spot and further details will be revealed,” Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar said.
Police stated that the victim was brutally gang-raped and killed by the accused before they burnt her body in Telangana’s Shamshabad on 27th November. Her body was recovered on 28th November.
