Rajasthan student attacks girl with blade for rejecting friendship proposal

In a shocking incident that took place in Rajasthan, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly attacked with a blade as she turned down a friendship proposal of the teenager.

The horrifying incident happened on Tuesday inside the school compound where the boy was already waiting for the girl. In the time of recess, when the boy spotted the girl all by her self in her classroom, he launched an attack using a blade and soon ran away from the spot.

Hearing the victim’s cry for help, the teachers and staff members rushed to help the girl but found her lying in a pool of blood.

As maintained by a report in Times Now, the accused is believed to be an 18-year-old student of Class 12 who had been allegedly stalking the girl for many days.

Reportedly, the accused had asked the girl for friendship but got angry after she rejected his advances.

In the meantime, Marwad Junction SHO Mohan Singh was quoted by Times Now as saying that the victim who is a Class 11 student, is currently receiving treatment at a hospital where her condition is said to be out of danger.

However, she is not in a state to talk properly, which is why the police are not able to take her statement.

At the same time, police have rounded up the accused and are currently going through his documents to confirm his age for further investigation.

Police are also making an attempt to take the statements of the victim’s father for more details in the matter.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
