Rajasthan: Grandmother kills 3-year-old to teach lesson to another after dispute
In a shocking incident reported from Rajasthan’s Baran, a woman murdered her 3-year-old granddaughter to teach a lesson to another person over a dispute. The woman killed the girl and falsely accused Rameshwar Mogya of killing the girl, following a dispute with him.
However, the police, interrogate the 50-year-old woman, identified as Kanakbai, and took her into custody her for allegedly murdering her granddaughter.
The incident took place in Rajasthan’s Borina village last month after two groups allegedly fought with each other on the way to fetch water.
Two groups in Borina village were involved in a dispute over the way to fetch water, which later escalated into a scuffle in which some people sustained injuries, SP Vinit Kumar Bansal told India Today TV that on May 30.
In the dispute, a three-year-old girl, the daughter of Amarlal Mogya, was killed. The family later registered a police complaint against Rameshwar Mogya for murdering the girl.
In the time of probe, the police found that Rameshwar Mogya's daughter, too, had sustained injuries during the fight. Kanakbai threatened Rameshwar Mogya against filing a complaint.
While Rameshwar Mogya fled, Kanakbai killed her 3-year-old granddaughter to falsely accuse Rameshwar Mogya of killing the girl during the scuffle between the two groups.
Suspicious about her activities, the police interrogated the woman and took her into their custody later.
