Raid at Spa Centre

Satna: In a surprise raid on Buddha Thai Spa Center in Satna, the police team led by CSP Mahendra Singh came up empty-handed due to a suspected leak of information. The police had received a tip-off about illegal activities being carried out at the spa centre, but when they arrived, they found nothing incriminating.

The raid was conducted on Wednesday afternoon at around 2:30 pm. The police team, including TI Shankhdhar Dwivedi and other personnel, reached the spa centre located on Umaria Main Road, near Kothi Tiraha. Two youths were found at the reception counter, who claimed to be employees. When questioned, they said that the manager had left and there was no one else in the centre.

The police searched the premises but found nothing suspicious. However, they noticed that the spa centre was equipped with CCTV cameras, including three cameras outside the building. When they reviewed the footage, they saw a youth entering the building quickly and then fleeing from the back door. The police then searched the upper floor and found the back door open.

The employees claimed that the manager had jumped off the roof and escaped. The CSP said that the spa centre was being monitored through CCTV cameras, and it seemed that someone had alerted the manager about the raid.

This is not the first time that the Buddha Thai Spa Center has been raided. Last year, on May 16, a sex racket was busted at the same location, and three youths, three girls, and objectionable materials were recovered.

The spa centre was being operated by Ankur Prajapati, who had taken it on rent from the Union Bank building. After the raid, the spa centre was closed for several days, but it was later reopened by someone else.

The police have now sought documents from the municipal corporation to determine the owner of the spa centre. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are trying to trace the manager who fled the scene.
