Pune man bludgeons elderly woman to death, sexually assaults her corpse

In a shocking incident reported from Pune, a man allegedly killed a woman and sexually assaulted her corpse in a village near Chakan. The 75-year-old’s semi bare body was found at her house on Monday. The accused also tried to sexually assault the victim before her death.

The accused was the woman’s neighbour. He knew the fact that the woman used to live alone. On Monday, the accused allegedly went to the victim’s house with the intention of sexually assaulting her.


When the victim resisted, the man allegedly used a blow pipe to bludgeon her to death. The accused then sexually assaulted the woman's corpse and ran away from the crime spot.

When the police came to know about the matter, they began an investigation and started interrogating the neighbour. Information collected by the police suggested that the accused was seen near the victim’s house on Monday, The Times of India reported.

In the meantime, the cops got a tip-off about the accused and used a dog squad to find him. In the time of the interrogation, the accused confessed to his involvement in the killing.

In another incident, a woman in Pune allegedly killed her mother-in-law, put her body in a gunny bag and disposed it with the help of her husband. The woman and her husband were arrested after the police went through the CCTV footage of the area and saw the accused carrying the gunny bag.

The woman allegedly strangulated the victim with a blouse and put her dead body in the gunny bag. The accused and her husband hid the dead body on the roof top of their house and took the decision of disposing it when it started emitting a foul smell.

The couple disposed the dead body in the forest close to their house and were taken into police custody when one of the neighbours alerted the cops.
