Noida: Woman allegedly raped while sitting in a park alone
Two unidentified men allegedly raped a woman in a park in Noida on July 21. According to the woman, she was sitting alone in the park. The attackers snatched her phone too, claims the woman in her complaint to the police.
Based on the complaint filed by the woman on Sunday, two people have been booked under IPC section 376 D (gang rape) and 392 (robbery).

The victim was not alone!
According to a report in the Times of India, Harish Chandar, the deputy commissioner of police (central) has preliminary information that suggests the woman was not alone.
"We have information that she was sitting with her boyfriend Pawan when the men approached. They had a heated argument after which Pawan ran away," DCP Chandar has been quoted as saying in the Times of India report.
Pawan has been detained for questioning. He needs to explain the reason for not contacting the police immediately when he ran away from the spot. The reason for his running away needs explanation too.
Medical report
According to DCP, the complainant's medical report showed no injury.
The police team is talking to possible witnesses to gather more information.
