Noida: Probe lets out 500 people, several porn sites had access to woman's private photos, 4 arrested

After the Noida Police took a man into custody for allegedly sharing indecent pictures of his ex-girlfriend, the probing officials have now discovered the role of four more individuals in the matter.

Besides the officials have also found out that several porn sites and not less than 500 people had access to the women’s private images. Police have started a manhunt in order to arrest the the four culprits.


As stated by DCP, Vrinda Shukla, all least 500 porn sellers had access to the illegal data. The investigation also revealed that the accused appears to have the illegal content with around four people on WhatsApp.

On 3rd May, a women approached the Phase 3 Police Station in Noida and reistered a compliant saying that some of her obscene pictures were being shared on social media. Police started the investigation soon after filing a case under the IT Act. The probing officials asked the women about the possible suspects and focused on her ex-boyfriend.

He was located in West Bengal’s Baruipur district. A team of officials was went to West Bengal where they nabbed the accused after collaborating with the local police. On June 6, the team came back to Noida, according to a report by The TOI.

The investigating officers seized the accused’s mobile phone in which had the illegal content that was shared on social media. While speaking to TOI, Shukla said, “We were in touch with social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram and Telegram, where explicit images were shared. Twitter immediately responded and disabled all the links from its platform.”

The complainant’s relationship with the accused ended four years back. In revenge, the accused shared obscene images of hers on social media.
