Murder caught on cam: 19-year-old boy stabbed to death by security guards
In what was a horrifying incident reported from Mumbai’s Mira Road, a teenager (19) was stabbed to death by two security guards of his own community. The two guards first had a heated argument with the teen, following which one of them took out a knife and stabbed him to death. The entire episode was captured by the building’s CCTV cameras.
Mira Road’s Kashimira police station has filed an FIR in the case and a search operation is underway for the two accused, who are on the loose.
As maintained by the cops, the incident happened in the compound of Srishti Complex society, phase 1, Mira Road. The victim has been identified as Abhishek Singh, a resident of the same locality.
The CCTV footage displays Abhishek coming down from the building and walking towards the security guard's cabin. A heated argument between the victim and the other two takes place. Shortly, both the guards start assaulting the teenager. One of them takes out a knife and stabs Singh many times. The victim was so viciously stabbed that his internal parts were hanging out.
The shocking incident was recorded on CCTV and the footage has been accessed by Aajtak India Today Group. Following the incident, the victim can be seen running towards the building entrance while the security guards flee from the society gate. Other residents of the society took Abhishek to a hospital, however, he breathe his last while receiving treatment.
"There was a fight between Singh and both security guards over some previous issue. We have registered a case of murder under section 302 of the IPC. Further investigations are on", DCP Amit Kale said.
