Mumbai: Woman depressed over break-up, commits suicide by jumping off third floor
In a tragic incident reported in Maharashtra’s Mumbai, where a 22-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping off of a residential building on Sunday.
The incident took place in the wee hours on April 26, when the woman ended her life by jumping off a residential building located on the 10th road in Mumbai’s Khar West.
The deceased woman identified as Premlata Tinga, who was allegedly depressed due to her broke up with youth. Police are suspecting it could be the possible reason for her extreme step.
As per the reports in timesnownews.com, Tinga was working as a domestic help in a couple’s apartment. She belonged to Chhattisgarh.
Meanwhile, police are probing the case with other possible angles and also obtaining information from the deceased girl’s mobile phone.
According to the reports of the Times of India, the employer of the deceased woman revealed that she got to know about Premlata committed suicide after their pet dog began barking. After hearing the dog’s sound, the Asani immediately rushed and found that Tinga had committed suicide.
However, Tinga was working at the couple’s residence for three years.
Apart from doing household work, she also used to look after the couple’s child.
According to Khar Police, the deceased had suffered severe injuries as she jumped from the third floor of the building. She was rushed to the hospital where the doctor pronounced her dead on admission.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case of accidental death.
