Mumbai stalker stops auto, assaults and kills 21-year-old woman

In what was a shocking incident reported from Maharashtra’s Mumbai, a 21-year-old woman was murdered by a stalker in an area which falls under the juridiction of RCF police station on November 10.

The man had stopped her auto-rickshaw and assaulted the woman. A case has been lodged under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and other relevant sections against the accused.


According to the Mumbai police, the accused has been taken into police custody.

In another shocking incident reported from Hyderabad, a woman was stabbed 18 times allegedly by a man after the victim refused to marry him. The accused man is said to be the boyfriend of the woman.

The victim, named Shirisha has been admitted to a hospital and is said to be in serious condition. The accused has also been identified as Basavaraj. The incident happened in a room where the woman was staying.

The accused man was reportedly angry after the woman got engaged to another man two months ago, according to a report in NDTV.

Both the accused and the victim are natives of Daulatabad area of Vikarabad district. The two were reportedly in a relationship. The police have taken the accused into custody.
