MP: Man throws wife, two daughters in well for shocking reason
In an appalling incident reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur, a man threw his wife and two daughters into a well on Sunday. The man was allegedly furious with his wife for "not being able to deliver a male child". While one of his daughters drowned, the woman and her six-month-old kid managed to flee with minor injuries.
The incident took place on Sunday in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur when the man was bringing his wife back from his in-laws' house.
In place of going back home, the man stopped near a well with no embarkment. He parked his bike near the well and pushed his wife and two daughters into it. He then ran away from the crime spot, leaving his wife and daughters helpless.
The woman some how managed to climb out of the well with her 3-month-old daughter, the eldest daughter drowned. With the help of the locals, the woman got to the police station and registered a complaint against her husband.
Police officer Rajendra Singh told India Today that the man had been threatening to kill the woman and his daughters for a while. The police have launched a search operation.
