MP: 5 killed in road mishap in Morena

At least five people were killed and three sustained injuries after their Bolero and a dumper collided on NH 44 near Ghuraiya Hotel in Morena in the early hours of October 2. The incident took place within the Noorabad police station limits.

According to the police, the people who died and were injured are the residents of Tiktoli village. These people had gone to Gwalior to visit a patient and were returning home when the dreadful accident took place.

Morena CSP Atul Singh said the accident occurred around 1 am when the villagers were returning from Gwalior. The bodies of two deceased are kept in the mortuary room in Morena, two bodies are in Noorabad and one in Gwalior. The injured persons are undergoing treatment.

A case has been registered and police have started an investigation.
