Meerut man slits daughter-in-law's throat after son hangs self to death

In an appalling act of crime brought to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district, a man identified as Ram Kishan murdered his daughter-in-law after attacking her with a cutter after his son hanged himself. The incident occured when the son of the accused ended his life at his office on 4th October .

The accused's son, identified as Amit Bansal worked as an interior designer. Angry over his son's passing away, the accused (Ram Kishan) beat-up and attacked his daughter-in-law with a cutter gravely injuring her.

The whole unfortunate episode was recorded in the office CCTV camera. On October 4, Pinki called her husband Amit Bansal but he did not answer the phone.

Pinky later reached his office and found Amit hanging from the ceiling. Panicked, Pinki also tried to end her own life by hanging herself. Meanwhile, Pinki's father-in-law also arrived at the office and got upset after seeing his son’s body.

Ram Kishan then began beating Pinki in anger and attacked her with a cutter lying on the office table. As cops from Nauchandi police station arrived at the crime spot, Ram Kishan attempted to prevent policemen from taking Pinki to hospital. She was later admitted to Meerut Medical College from where she was referred to a hospital in Noida.

Earlier on Sunday, Pinki succumbed to her injuries at Noida’s JP Hospital. Ram Kishan was taken into police custody by Meerut police and has now been charged for murder.

Pinki was a resident of Ghaziabad and reports suggest that she will be cremated in the district. The couple has 8-month-old daughter.
