Maharashtra man aims Diwali rockets at apartment building; video goes viral [WATCH]
A video showing a man firing multiple Diwali rockets at the windows of an apartment building in Maharashtra's Thane has emerged on social media platforms. State police are now looking for the unidentified man and have charged him under several sections of the IPC.
Thane police took notice of the issue after a video capturing the incident in Ulhasnagar town of Thane district was shared on Instagram.
In the video, the man can be seen holding up a box while standing in front of a residential building. Seconds later, multiple rockets shoot out from the box, one after the other, and hit the balconies and windows of the apartment floors.

The man has been charged under IPC sections 285 (negligent conduct with respect to fire or combustible matter), 286 (negligent conduct with respect to explosive substance) and 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others), an official added.
In the meantime, 11 incidents of fire caused by firecrackers were reported in Thane on Monday.
"The Thane Fire Brigade received a total of 16 calls yesterday, out of which 11 were about fire caused due to firecrackers," said the officials of the district municipal corporation.
Many incidents of fire were also reported in Mumbai and neighbouring areas.
