Madhya Pradesh horror: Father-son duo kill woman kin, injure her two sons with axe

A 48-year-old man, in company of his son, killed his sister-in-law and injured her two sons with an axe and another sharp edged weapon in a bustling market place in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district on Thursday.

A clip of the horrifying episode went viral on the internet Shortly afterwards.

The infortunate incident of crime happened in Bhoti, around 40 km away from the district headquarters, and the accused, identified as Raju Bhargava and his son Radhasharan, aged 20, are at large, an official said.

As maintained by Boti area police station official Sanjay Mishra said, "Raju, along with his son Radhasharan, attacked his brother's wife Manjulata as well as her sons Vinay and Girraj with an axe and a sharp-edged weapon. The duo first attacked Vinay and Manjulata had come to the latter's rescue. She was killed, while Girraj is critical in the district hospital’’.

According to locals in the area, Raju was getting a concrete bench installed near Manjulata's home and this was opposed by Vinay, leading to a heated argument that ended in murder.

"While Vinay managed to escape with some bruises, Manjulata couldn’t and was murdered. Girraj, who rushed out of the house to rescue his mother, was also attacked and left with serious injuries to the spine and head," an eye witness said.
