Madhya Pradesh: Bank manager rapes minor girl, records video to blackmail her
A bank manager was taken into custody in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, for allegedly raping a minor girl.
Kamlesh Sharme, in-charge of Tukoganj police station said on the basis of a statement by the victim, a complaint has been registered against the accused under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code.
The 53-year-old accused was posted as a bank manager in Mohali. He was later nabbed from Indore.
According to police the girl had met the accused, who was then posted in Indore, through a common friend.
The girl told police that the bank manager had raped her and also recorded a video of the crime in order to blackmail her later.
The accused on many occasions took the girl for shopping. One day, he took her to a hotel and allegedly raped her there, police said.
Furthermore, the victim also told police that her friend was also to be blamed for the crime, following which, police have registered a complaint against her.
