Madhya Pradesh: 8-year-old girl gang-raped by four students inside school's washroom
Four students gang raped an 8-year-old girl in a toilet on school premises in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain, said police, further adding that they have not arrested any suspects up till now.
As maintained by a report in TOI, the girl told the cops that the alleged accused have gang raped at least two of her other classmates, but no one has come forward so far.
As per the FIR, the girl stated that the gang of senior boys pounced on her for the first time in 21st January when she was going to the main gate. Accordig to the report, the accused took her to the washroom and raped her. She further added that they again raped her on 9th March.
She told her mother and principle about the incident two day after it had taken place, the principal, who allegedly dismissed her complaint and claimed that, "such a crime could never have happened in their school". The girl, along with her mother, then approached the police.
A case has been filed and additional SP Rupesh Dwivedi stated that the four boys have been charged under section 376 DB of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act.
