In a shocking incident, a woman stabbed her husband to death as she was stopped from wearing jeans after marrage. The incident was reported from Jorbhitha village, which falls under the jurisdiction of Jamtara police station.

On Saturday, the woman, identified as Pushpa Hembrom, went to a fair in Gopalpur village wearing jeans. When she returned home, the couple had a heated argument over her clothes and questioned her as to why she wore the jeans after her marriage.
