IRCTC Offers on Raksha Bandhan 2021: Indian Railways special surprise for its female passengers; exciting deets inside

Ahead of Raksha Bandhan, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a special offer for its female passengers.

According to the official statement, women who will be travelling in the two Tejas Express trains will get a cashback of 5 percent on ticket fare till August 24.

On the occasion of the upcoming Raksha Bandhan festival, women who will be travelling in the Delhi-Lucknow and Mumbai Ahmedabad Tejas Express trains will get a cashback on their ticket fare.

However, this offer will be applicable only for trips on or before August 24. IRCTC will be credited the discount on the ticket each time to the same account from which the train ticket is booked.

The cashback offer can also be avail by those women who have already booked their tickets prior to the announcement for travelling in the two trains.

In the wake of the Hindu festival, Mumbai-Ahmedabad and Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express trains will now operate four days a week – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Amid the decline in COVID-19 cases in India, IRCTC resumed the operation of both Tejas Express from August 7. Therefore, women who are planning to travel either in Mumbai Ahmedabad or Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express trains will get this exciting cashback offer.

Four months ago, Mumbai Ahmedabad and Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express trains services were halted due to the sudden surge in coronavirus cases.
